Borradale Stanley

Welcome to Borradale Stanley, where history meets luxury on the pristine Green Hills of Stanley, Northwest Tasmania. Nestled on a 163-acre beef property bordered by serene beaches, we offers a unique blend of rural charm and contemporary comfort.

Originally inhabited by the First Nations “Peerakka” people, the land transitioned to the Van Diemans Land company in 1825 before being farmed by the Borradale family as tenants. The Trethewie family, who acquired the property in 1916, were its first freehold owners until 2009, leaving behind a rich heritage that resonates through the landscape.

In 2016, Craig and Melinda Dwyer purchased Borradale, embarking on a journey to restore its legacy. Over seven years, they enhanced infrastructure and sustainable farming practices, now raising Cape Grim beef and managing sheep to nurture the land.
